About
Lena Yokoyama is a Japanese/Austrian illustrator and image maker based in London. She is represented by Grand Matter.
Lena studied Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts (2020) and Drawing at the Royal Drawing School (2025). While working on commercial illustration by day, personal work and sketchbook stuff is happening by night and during all the in-between moments, especially while waiting and travelling. Working across drawing and printmaking, Lena’s work focuses on everyday, domestic moments, transforming the ordinary into thoughtful, diary-like reflections. Her work often features her surroundings, friends, and family, inviting viewers to see the familiar with fresh eyes.
